What Barn Hunt is
In Barn Hunt a dog searches a course of straw or hay bales for rats kept safely inside aerated tubes, alongside decoy tubes that hold only litter or nothing, and tells its handler which tube is the live one. Runs are timed.
Trials are sanctioned by the Barn Hunt Association, with classes that run from the Instinct test up through Novice, Open, Senior and Master.
