Our goal
Title is for everyone who trains, competes with or works with dogs, and that includes people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, screen magnification, voice control or high contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across title-dog.com and the Title app.
What we do
- We build every page to work with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- A “Skip to main content” link is the first thing the Tab key reaches on every page.
- Form fields have visible labels. When something is wrong, the message is written in words next to the field and read out by screen readers, not shown by colour alone.
- Text is sized and coloured to meet the WCAG contrast minimums, and pages reflow to fit a narrow screen or a zoomed-in window without scrolling sideways.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Motion and animation are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Public pages are delivered as complete HTML, so they can be read before any scripts run.
Where we may fall short
Title is updated often, and we will not always get everything right the first time. Uploaded documents such as scanned certificates are stored as they were provided, and may not be readable by a screen reader. If a page, feature or document does not work for you, we want to hear about it.
